§ 5-1. County Judge authorized to establish 911 public safety communications dispatch centers; emergency telephone service charge levied.

(a)

The County Judge is hereby authorized to create, establish and operate 911 public safety communications dispatch centers for Washington County with the concurrence of the Sheriff.

(b)

An emergency telephone service charge is hereby levied in the amount of five (5) percent of the tariff rate, to be imposed pursuant to Section 5 of Act 683 of 1985.
