§ 9-32. Membership.

(a)

The County Law Library Board shall be composed of five (5) persons, who shall be practicing attorneys, qualified electors of the County, and who shall have been nominated by the Washington County Bar Association, pursuant to Ark. Stat. Ann. § 25-507.

(b)

The members of the County Law Library Board shall be appointed by the County Judge from those persons nominated as set out in subsection (a) and shall require confirmation of the Quorum Court.

(c)

The terms of office of members of the County Law Library Board shall be for five (5) years beginning the July first following their appointment, except that the initial appointment of the Board shall be for staggered terms as provided in Act 742 of 1977 [Ark. Stat. Ann. § 17-4106(2)(i)].
