§ 14-17. Clean-up.

  • The County Judge is hereby authorized to designate as access roads to any solid waste disposal facility or site located in Washington County, such county roads leading from the entrance of the facility or site to each state highway near the facility or site, as he may in his discretion deem reasonable. The operator of each facility or site in Washington County shall provide in his contract with haulers of solid waste, that the haulers shall use only those county roads designated as access roads, when delivering solid waste to the facility or site. At least every two (2) weeks, the operator shall provide for the clean-up of all trash, debris, garbage or solid waste which may collect along the access roads as a result of use of the facility or site. Access roads shall be cleaned up from the entrance of the facility or site for a distance of three (3) miles or to the intersection of the access road with the nearest state highway, whichever is shorter.
