§ 6-11. Rural fire departments designated.

The following rural fire departments operate within Washington County, Arkansas, and are designated as such by the quorum court:

Cincinnati Rural Fire Department.

(2)

Lincoln Rural Fire Department.

(3)

Morrow Rural Fire Department.

(4)

Prairie Grove Rural Fire Department.

(5)

Evansville Rural Fire Department.

(6)

Tontitown Rural Fire Department.

(7)

Wheeler Rural Fire Department.

(8)

Wedington Rural Fire Department.

(9)

Farmington Rural Fire Department.

(10)

West Fork Rural Fire Department.

(11)

Strickler Rural Fire Department.

(12)

Boston Mountain Rural Fire Department.

(13)

Nob Hill Rural Fire Department.

(14)

Goshen Rural Fire Department.

(15)

Elkins Rural Fire Department.

(16)

Whitehouse Rural Fire Department.

Sunset Rural Fire Department.

The geographical areas served by each of the above listed and enumerated rural fire departments is depicted on the map attached to the ordinance from which this section was derived as Exhibit "A" and incorporated by reference as if set out fully described word for word.

Nothing in this section shall prohibit or be construed to prohibit these rural fire departments from entering into interlocal agreements or coming to the mutual aid of one another or fire departments outside the County as needed and authorized by law.
