§ 12-71. Establishment.

There is hereby established public transportation services for the citizens of the County. Such services may be provided either by contract or by the County.

Ord. No. 2002-3, Art. 1, adopted Jan. 10, 2002, approved the contract for public transportation services with Ozark Regional Transit, Inc., and incorporated herein as if set out word for word. Ord. No. 2002-19, Arts. 1—3, adopted May 9, 2002, authorized Washington County to become a part of Ozark Transit Authority. The interlocal agreement attached hereto is incorporated herein as if set out word for word. Ord. No. 2006-15, adopted Mar. 9-2006, authorizes the addition of the City of Lowell, Arkansas, as a member of the Ozark Transit Authority.
