§ 12-45. Penalties.

(a)

Junkyards or automobile graveyards which are not screened as required by this Article or by applicable State law shall be deemed a public nuisance.

(b)

Operation of a junkyard or automobile graveyard in violation of this Article or by applicable State law shall be punishable by a fine of up to two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) per day. Furthermore, the County Judge is authorized to initiate appropriate civil action to prevent or enjoin any violations of this Article.
